Playing Craps can be as simple or as complicated as you choose to make it. There are an extensive array of betting options available but you only need to understand a few of them to play the game, have fun and win.The following is a compilation of the most efficient strategy tips attested to by professional gamblers, which in itself, can be used as a single gambling strategy for playing the casino game of craps.  The online version of the game is quite easy to learn and far less intimidating and confusing than craps found at land-based casinos.  If you want to learn the game of craps, and become good at it, a great way to start is online.  Then, when you are ready to put your skills to the test at the actual table itself, your confidence will be at a new level.  When you have digested the following overall strategy tips, please read the comprehensive crap tips found at the bottom of this page.  By checking back often for new discoveries and insight, even the best of players benefit. The best tip anyone could give to a gambler seeking to develop a profitable gaming strategy at craps is to practice, practice, practice.  I know it sounds cliché, but just like any skill, dedicated practice is the key to mastership.  With most online casinos offering free practice play of their gaming software, lack of accessibility is no longer an excuse for craps players.

Craps is indeed a fast-paced game.  And although players can take a larger degree of time to make decisions when playing craps online - craps players need to think fast and be prepared to make sound decisions on the spot without having to think twice about them.  When all is said and done, there really is not that much information that needs to be committed to memory.  The idea is to get the information you really do need so ingrained that you can get outside of your head when playing.  And the more you are outside of your head, the more confident and aware you will be about your surroundings.  Craps is a game that can deliver some of the best odds and lowest Casino Advantage in gambling.  It is also just like every other gambling game in that it produces many “lucky” winners.  Therefore, knowing when to take chances and being in tune with all the activity at the craps table holds great weight in developing one’s confidence and decision making processes.

In craps there is no “system” that can guarantee success.  A system can guarantee you will win a certain number of times;  However, it also guarantees that you will lose a certain number of times.  Just how much these losses and winnings add up nobody can predict. You will likely hear about craps systems that incorporate ‘Hedging’, which is a technique used to cover ones bets with additional bets.  And although these systems can get the House Edge down in the neighborhood of 1.2%, they can be mind boggling, and are actually not the most efficient ways of getting the House Edge Down.  As you will see, backing a pass line bet with a free odds wager (a very simple wager) can get the House Edge down below 1%.  Systems have their use, but are not the most efficient, and definitely not the most simplified ways of maximizing craps gambling. In the early stages of learning a simple and efficient craps strategy, it is advisable to only place bets with the lowest House Advantage.  Then later on, if you think you can be lucky once in a while, you may desire to make those craps bets that have very little chance of hitting.  Therefore, let’s begin our craps strategy pointers by first deciding on which bets not to make, and which to rarely make

Playing craps is one of the simplest things in the world; however, many people forgo the fun and see only the complicated layout on the table, and give up almost at once. This is not always the best course of action, for as intimidating as it may seem, the craps table layout is much simpler than it may appear at first glance. The average craps table is about the size of a billiards table and is designed to accommodate between twelve and twenty-four players. There are two identical side areas separated by a center area where the proposition bets are placed. Players at each end of the table can place the same kind of bets and have their wins and losses handled by a dealer close to them. A rail is located in front of the players divided into the same number of sections, as there are players to keep the bettors chips in. The layouts two identical sides consists of several betting possibilities; Pass and Don’t Pass Line bets, Come and Don’t Come areas, Field bets, Big 6 and 8 bets and areas to make Place bets on the numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10.

People were always interested in different sorts of gambling. That is why, all sorts of casinos are so popular. But it is not that easy to start gambling at a regular casino. Most of the casinos are situated in special areas and a gambler needs to get there to play a casino game. Many people aren`t ready to do that even for their favorite casino games. Possibly you have even heard of the so-called gambling tourism when people are specially visiting cities with big number of casinos, for example such gambling empires like Las Vegas or Monte Carlo. But these days there is another option - gambling lovers have an opportunity to play casino games in much easier way. Today gambling is available in the cyberspace. And playing at the online casinos is much easier than at real world casinos. And it is also pretty easy to start, and that is why the number of new online gamblers (people who have never tried gambling before can try it now) is constantly growing.

When becoming acquainted with the rules of the game, the first thing a player should due is study the layout of the craps table itself.  You only need to concern yourself with one side of the craps table, for the entire table consists of two asymmetrical halves that are exactly the same.  This layout component facilitates play from all areas of the table.  However, you will only be presented with one half of the table when playing online craps in an internet casino.  The craps table consists of a series of boxes where the chips of various types of bets are placed.   After learning what type of bet goes where, you should familiarize yourself with what each bet entails. If Craps could be summed in one sentence it would be this: A game that determines winners due to the outcome of a dice roll.  It would be nice if learning craps were this easy.  Yet, as intimidating as craps seems to many players unfamiliar with the game, learning the rules is actually quite simple.

When being directly fronted by an online craps table, the player will first see a horizontal box that says the phrase, Pass Line, which is the section to make Pass Bets .  Directly behind this box is one that says “Don’t Pass Bar”.  This is where Don’t Pass bets are placed.  Just behind this box is a larger one marked with the word “Field” and the numbers 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 and 12 - with the numbers 2and 12 circled (meaning they pay bonuses - usually double). This is where Field Bets are made.  Directly behind the Field box is another horizontal box of similar size printed with the word “Come”.  This is where Come Bets are set. Caddy corner to the right or left-hand side of the aforementioned boxes is a triangular shaped box with the word “Big” and large numbers six and eight printed in it.  This is where  “Big 6″ and “Big 8″ bets are placed.  A series of numbered boxes (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10) are located directly behind the Come Box.  These are the box numbers and is where Place Bets, Buy Bets, Lay Bets and/or bets governed by point numbers are set by the dealer.  Between this box and the vertical run of the Don’t Pass Bar is a Don’t Come Bar.  This is where Don’t Come Bets are made.  And just right or left to this entire group of boxes is yet another series of boxes (which most craps players do not bother using due to their higher House Edge).  At the top of this series of boxes is a box labeled ‘Seven’,  ‘Any Craps’ and two vertical strips of boxes with various dice combinations.  This is where Proposition Bets are made.
